Lewis Calvin Riley Sr., 92, of White Post died on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at the Winchester Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 6 with the Rev. Paul M. King officiating.
Interment was in the Flint Hill Cemetery, Flint Hill.
Mr. Riley was bom January 9, 1904, in Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Sara Eliza Foster Riley.
He was a retired grocer and was a member of the Winchester Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, Bertha Riley of White Post; one son, Lewis C. Riley, Jr. of Stephens City; three daughters, Goldie Smoot of Flint Hill, Mathey Smith of Shenandoah and Helen Grimsley of Marshall and 11 grandchildren.
He is also survived by two brothers, Floyd Riley of Flint Hill and P.J. Riley of White Post and one sister, Rixey Frye of Flint Hill.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Riley, Roy Riley, Roger Riley, Robert Riley Jr., Robert Riley, III and J.P. Walters.
Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
