The practitioners at the Rappahannock Healing Arts Center, located in offices at the Mountain side Market complex, are offering a free series of lectures.
These presentations are intended to introduce the public to a variety of healing arts that are being employed with greater acceptance by medical systems all over the country. Beginning with a Bill Moyers special on natural healing three years ago, the explosion of interest in developing greater self-reliance as well as prevention of disease has been an impetus to providing quality care for those interested in enhancing their health and well-being.
. The series will run every Thursday evening at the library from 7:30 to 9 p.m. The first evening, Sept. 26, will be an introductory panel of all the practitioners. Each will give a brief synopsis of his or her work and how the techniques might be employed together or with conventional medicine. There will than be sufficient time for questions and answers.
