Animal Shelter
During the evening session board members met with Karen Flynn, president of the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League and Lisa Reid who is the manager of the shelter.
Board members had received a letter from Robert Duxberry complaining about the noise from barking dogs. Mr. Duxberry suggested the shelter was holding far too many dogs.
The supervisors also had a request from Ms. Flynn for a fence to be build around the shelter and supplementary building built by RAWL to make sure dogs being walked cannot get loose.
Mr. McCarthy suggested RAWL keep a log of how many dogs are at the shelter, how many are brought in by Animal Warden James Leake, and
