Another section of the store displays hats, purses, jewelry and other accessories for sale. Some of the more eye-catching clothing may be hanging either on a hat rack outside the store or on a prominent wall space. The sale rack and the winter clothing are just inside the front door.

There is a room to try on the clothes, or shoppers may take the clothes home to try them on and return them for credit or get their money back, as long as the clothing was not on sale.

Mothers are not the Only ones bringing in their children to shop, said Mrs. Vierling. Many fathers also bring in their children, as do grandparents.

Aunt Jane's Consignment Shop is located on U.S. 522 in Flint Hill, in the packing shed next to Settle's Grocery. The shop is open on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is closed on Thursdays.
