After falling behind 9-0 at the beginning of their first game last Thursday and ending the first quarter down 9-2, the RCHS JV girls' basketball team was only down 16-10 at the end of the half.
In the second half the Panthers pulled to only three points down at 3027 in the fourth period, but couldn't regain the lead and lost to the Strasburg Rams 32-28.
Their overall performance was much improved from the scrimmage match with Clarke County shortly after school started.
