Mrs. Ralph Coffman, District Chairman for DAR Magazine Advertising, spoke of the ad of District VI to be in the January issue of the DAR Magazine. This year the focus will be on the schools in the District to be pinpointed on a map.
Vice Director, Mrs. Richard G. Anderson, urged members to purchase the DAR notecards.
"Westward Ho" is the title of the new exhibit to be opened at the DAR Museum in October. Mrs. W. Ramsey Richardson, District Secretary^ Treasurer, in reporting on it, said that a Conestoga wagon owned by Mrs. H.T.N. Graves, Curator General will be a focal point of the exhibit.
Carolyn Butler, a member of the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, having just completed a Genealogy Class at National Headquarters, gave pertinent information for preparing ancestor papers. She stressed that their is usually not enough information given.
A calendar for District VI and National events for 1996-1997 was handed out and gone over by Mrs. Metzinger.
