Christmas Party Planned
The FCE, Homemakers will have their annual Christmas party on Monday, Dec. 2 at Amissville Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m. Those attending should bring a covered dish and a gift to exchange.
Education Group To Meet
The First Thursday Education Support Group will meet on Monday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Extension Office on Gay Street. Out topic will be "What teachers see as priorities for educating our children, short term and long term.” Bring a friend; all are welcome. "All-American Holiday" at RCES
On Thursday, Dec. 5 at 9 a.m. and at 7 p.m. the kindergarten and second grade students will present their musical program "An All-American Holiday." The fifth grade chorus and the sixth and seventh grade chorus will also be included in the event. The community is cordially invited to attend these performances. All visitors are asked to report to the Main Office 15 minutes prior to the performances. For further information please call the RCES office at 987-8259.
Play To Be Presented
Ki Theatre presents The Shepherds' Play, a traditional 14th Centure nativity pageant, with acoustic music, acting and singing on Saturday, Dec. 14. Performance times are 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Ki Theatre on Gay Street. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children, available in advance from Mountainside Market, Talk of the Town and New Leaf Book Store, or by writing The Shepherds’ Play, P.O.
