Teams Play
In Tourney
Both varsity and JV boys' basketball teams will be participating in the Page/Valley Holiday Classic Basketball Tournament over the Christmas holidays.
The JV will go first with games Friday afternoon, Dec. 27, against Strasburg at 1 p.m. and against Page County at 2:30.
The varsity will play Page County Friday night at 7 p.m. Then depending on the outcome of that game it will play in the championship game at 8:30 Saturday night, Dec. 28, or in the consolation game at 7 p.m.
Athletic Director Mike Tupper hopes lots of Rappahannock fans will venture across the mountain for the tournament since RCHS gets a share of the gate proceeds, and the„ players will certainly appreciate support from their fans.
The varsity games are $4 per night. JV games are $3 for the day. A concession stand will be open.
