An employee of The Inn at Little Washington reported on Nov. 19 that several cookbooks had been stolen.
They were found missing after an inventory was conducted of the books. According to Sheriff Gary Settle, the investigation is still active.
The VDOT office in Culpeper said that two traffic counters, worth $1,500 each, were stolen on Route 630 between U.S. 522 and Route 628. Sheriff Settle said that he believes they were taken between Nov. 18 and 21.
