business but is helping out his sister for the winter months.
Most recently, she has been doing catering in Luray, which she hopes to carry on through the Washington Deli. She left the Bleu Rock Inn last January after being employed there for six years as the manager. "At the Bleu Rock Inn I would set up parties from beginning to end," she said.
Mrs. Cornish's first day at the deli was Monday, Nov. 18. On Friday she said they had been busy all week, and that was evident, with the phone ringing off the hook and people coming in to order lunch. She said she loves to chitchat, with people who come in for lunch.
Fans will be happy to know that deliveries in the town limits are still free, but deliveries will be made outside of the town limits only when the order is $15 or more. Lisa Blosser helps out with deliveries.
