7 gearing up for food drives and gift workshops. Charily organizers say that donations have been generous, and many groups hope to break last year's records for the number of needy people served. Members of the Warrcnlon-Fauquicr Jaycccs are collecting new and used toys and non-perishable foods as part of their Christmas Toy Workshop. The goods will be distributed to poor families over the holidays. Last year, the Jaycccs raised $12,000 and made gift baskets for 290 families with 600 children, said Bob Ross, chairman of the Jaycccs' toy workshop. Local boy scout and cub scout troops have volunteered to wrap the gifts. Donations can be made at Breaklimc Billiards at 135 West Lee Highway in Warrenlon. Monetary donations can bc^ mailed to the Jaycccs at P.O. Box 508 Warrenlon 20108. Additional drop-off points at local banks and grocery stores will be available soon, Ross said.
