Two other books that would make a good addition to a Jewish home are “Encyclopedia of Jewish Concepts,” edited by Philip Birnbaum (HPC), and “Down-toEarth Judaism, Food, Money, Sex,'and the Rest of Life” by Arthur Waskow (William Morrow).
The encyclopedia has more-than 1,600 entries of observances, personalities and events dealing with Judaism.

The wealth of Jewish music that is available today is enough to fill several CD magazines. From traditional klezmer music to jazzy contemporary-style versions of traditional songs, there is something that would appeal to everyone.
