RAAC-On-Tour Trip Set
The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) is sponsoring a RAAC-ON-TpUR to New York March 14-15-16. Reservations must be made with RXAC (675-3182) by Jan. 31 to allow time to secure discounted Amtrak and theatre tickets and to make hotel arrangements.
A sample of plays and museum exhibits currently in New York include: “Barrymore” starring Christopher Plummer; “How I Learned to Drive” with Mary Louise Parker and Johanna Day; “Aptony & Cleopatra” directed by Vanessa Redgrave; at the Metropolitan Museum, ‘The Glory of Byzantium and “Late Klee”; and at the Guggenheim, “Rrose is a Rrose is a Rrose: Gender Performance in Photography” featuring Man Ray. •o.
RCHS To Sponsor Concert
The Night of Blue’s Concert will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Rappahannock County High School auditorium. The event is being sponsored by students against drunk driving. The cost is $3 for students and $5 for adults. For more information call 987-8575.
4-H Share-the-Fun Show Planned
The 4-H Share The Fun Talent Show will be held at 5 p.m. on Feb. 15 at the Rappahannock County High School. Anyone interested in performing can pick up information at Rappahannock County Elementary, High School or the Extension Office. Rehearsals are Feb. 4, 6, 11 and 13 at the Rappahannock County High School auditorium at 3:30 p.m. In case of high school closing or early dismissal due to weather conditions, rehearsals will be canceled. Benefit Dance at RCHS
Come enjoy a super evening of live entertainment by ‘The Southern Persuasion Band” at a benefit dance at Rappahannock County High School from 8 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15. Bring your favorite dance partner and celebrate Valentine’s Day in style. Highlights of the evening will be: beautiful fresh roses for sale; door prizes; a raffle and refreshments. Admission is $5.
