Cub Scout Pack 123 held its 1997 Pinewood Derby race at the Washington Volunteer Fire Hall on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Thirty-eight Cub Scouts competed for top honors in multiple-elimination races. The competition was Fierce, particularly in the Wolf Dean where there were fifteen cars in the. field.
Parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters helped to cheer the winners over the finish line. The three fastest cars in each den are eligible to race in the Shenrapawa District Pinewood Derby in April, 1997.
