Appointments to the
Rappahannock County
Board of Assessors As part of the General Reassessment of all real property in the County of Rappahannock, the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors intends to appoint a Board of Assessors to oversee the general reassessment in accordance with §58.1-3275, et seq. of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended. The Board of Supervisors shall appoint not fewer than three nor more that five assessors, no two of whom may be from the same voting district of the County. Each must be a freeholder (real property owner) and a citizen of Rappahannock County, and must agree to take such training course as may be required by the State Department of Taxation. The Board • intends to make appointments at their February 3, 1997 meeting.
