Learning Presentation Planned
A presentation for teachers and parents on “Optimizing Learning_ Assisting Children to learn more effectively through Simple Techniques” will be given by Caroline Libby from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at Rappahannock County High School in the home economics room. The cost is $ 15. Teacher recertification credit will be awarded.
Caroline Libby is Certified K-12 in language arts, math, and french: She is an Early Childhood Specialist and is currently teaching gifted students in Fauquier county. Valentine's Dinner Planned \
The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad is sponsoring a Valentine’s dinner on Feb. 15 from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at the Rappahannock Elementary School. The menu will include one-half barbecue chicken, wild rice, peas, salad, rolls, dessert and beverages for $8 or $15 for a couple.
