Support Group To Meet

The Blue Ridge Brain Injury support group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. on Feb. 8 in the parish hall of the Trinity Episcopal Church. For more information, directions, transportation or Support call Pat Salmon at 6753137.

Education Group To Meet

The First Thursday Education Support Group will meet on Thursday! Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Extension Office on Gay Street. Please join the group as Raye Tupper, Principal, and Richard Smith, Assistant Principal, tell us what’s new, different and challenging at the Elementary School, as well as sharing their vision with us and answering questions. Spring Soccer Registration

Save money, register now for spring soccer. Rappahannock Soccer League (RSL) encourages on-time registration by charging a $25 fee per child for all completed forms received before March 1 and a $35 fee for all late forms received March 1-14. All RCES students have received Spring 97 registration forms before Feb. 1. More forms are available at the RCES office and at Cabin Fever Bookstore in Sperryville. Registration is open to all children bom on and between Aug. 1, 1992 and July 31, 1983. Registration questions can be answered by Lorinda Bosch at 636-3580.

Wakefield Homecoming Week

Wakefield School is making preparations to celebrate homecoming on Friday, Feb. 7. That day the Fighting Owls will play Hearth in two basketball games scheduled at 4:30 p.m. (Girls Varsity) and 6 p.m. (Boys Varsity).

Headmaster Peter Quinn and his wife Maryanne will host a Post-game Reception for Alumni, and a Homecoming Dance will be held at 8 p.m. that night. Activities leading up to Homecoming Day will include a cheer contest, Red and White day, other creative dress days, a banner contest, and a pep rally.

Band Boosters To Meet

The Rappahannock Band Boosters will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6 in the band trailer at the Rappahannock County Elementary School. All elementary and high school parents are invited. For more information call Dave Gillis at 987-8817.
