The successful bidder shall comply with the terms contained in the Invitation for Bids issued by the Trustees of the Rappahannock County Library. Copies of the complete IFB and the General Terms and Conditions are available from the office listed below. A prebid meeting will be held for any prospective bidders with questions or requests for additional information on Friday, February 21 at 9:00 AM at the Library facility. Attendance is not required in order to bid on the work herein described. No prequalification is required for this contract.

All bids should be submitted on a form (included with the General Terms and Conditions documents) clearly identifying the company providing the service, be signed by the principal of the firm, and shall note any exclusions or limitations: The basis for the bid shall also be stated.; for this agreement, a final and complete finished price shall be stated. All bids must be received at the County Administrator's Office, Old Extension Office, 290 Gay Street, P.O. Box 519, Washington, VA 22747 by Monday, February 24, 1997, by 3:00 PM, at which time they will be opened and publicly read.

The terms of Competitive Sealed Bidding as set forth in the Virginia Public Procurement Act shall apply. The Library Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
