Canyon are two of the heaviest used trails in the park. At both locations the experience can be diminished due to overcrowding on weekends. Rangers recommend hiking these trails during the week, if possible, and choosing other trails on weekends. Revenue from hew recreation fees will be directed towards increasing the quality of the visitors experience and enhancing the protection of natural and cultural resources at SNP. Eighty percent of the amount collected will be returned to the Park.
