The community is invited to attend revival services at Amissville’s Maranatha Baptist Church beginning May 18 through May 23 at 7:30 p.m. Their speaker will be Evangelist Steve Jerrett and special singing is scheduled each evening. Nursery will be provided.
If you missed Maryland’s ‘Trump King” in concert at Bethel Baptist Church on Sunday, May 18, you truly missed out on some fantastic gospel singing and fellowship. Although the ‘Trump King” was certainly a treat for Christians, Bethel Baptist Church has some of the most gifted musical talent in the area. Their pianist, Ms. Williams, is definitely a force to be reckoned with when she plays from the heart while leading the congregation in song. It was an inspirational two hours and we thank Deacon King, Deacon Edwards, Pastor Freeman and Bethel’s members for an uplifting afternoon. We look forward to your next concert in July!
Amissville United Methodist Church hosted another very successful Mother’s Day Banquet Friday night. May 16, with mothers, daughters, and grandmothers filling the social hall.
