The oldest member of Amissville United Methodist Church, W. Carl Weaver, Sr., will celebrate his 100th birthday on Wednesday, May 21st. Mr. Weaver’s family had a gathering this past Sunday, May 18th, to mark this wonderful occasion. On the 21st, Rev. White and several ladies from the United Methodist Women plan to visit Mr. Weaver and celebrate with a birthday cake in his honor. Everyone wishes you the very best, Mr. Weaver, and pray that you will continue to keep your good health.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Norris announce with pleasure the birth of their son, Augustus Traves. “Gus” was bom April 26th, his Dad’s birthday, in Fairfax Hospital. He weighed seven pounds and 13 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long!
His paternal grandmother is Jean Norris who shares a home with “Gus” and his parents on Waterford Road.
Pat and Charlie Sher of the Lazy S Llama Ranch are his maternal grandparents and live next door. Congratulations to all!
