Saturday offers a full 12 hours of music. The day begins at 11 a.m. with Continental Divide. Also scheduled to perform are the Larry Stephenson Band, the New Coon Creek Girls, the Lonesome River Band, the Virginia Squires, and Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys. Jerry Douglas will join the Lonesome River Band on its second show, and Tony Rice and Rickie Simpkins will do a set. The festival will close with an all-star jam.
Advance three-day tickets which include rough camping are on sale now through May 28 for $48 and may be obtained by calling Graves’ Mountain Lodge at 923-4231, Mark Newton at 899-3870 or Picker’s Supply at 3714669. Three-day tickets will be sold at the gate for $55, and one day tickets are $14 for Thursday, $18 for Friday, and $24 for Saturday. Children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Rough camping is available only for three-day ticket holders. Motorcycles and dogs are not allowed.
