Jaston Williams, has enjoyed huge success as a satiric hit with adventours theater companies around the country. A decade and a half after its conception, its political commentary and hilarious stabs at small town life still bite deep.
Four County Players, from Barboursville, and Live Arts, from Charlottesville, offer Greater Tuna as their first joint touring production. Directed by Bill Thomas, Greater Tuna calls for bravura performances from two actors who create the entire population of the town. Thomas says that taking the show on the road calls for “a carload of costumes and a front seat full of actors.”
