Jesse Smith, a freshman at Rappahannock High School, was one of the teenaged Explorer Scouts assisting with the demonstrations. He wants to pursue firefighting as. a career. Smith is the only Rappahannock member of Amissville’s newly-formed Explorer Post 350. All the other members are from Culpeper. Both Smith’s parents, Art and Sheila Smith, are Amissville volunteers.
