The Rappahannock Farmers Association will sponsor an estate planning seminar on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock High School. The program will focus on scenic easements. For more information call 675-3444.

Food Fest planned

The Culinary classes at Rappahannock County High School are having a Food Fest during parent-teacher night on Oct. 23 from 3 to 7 p.m. The public is invited to sample the home cooking. All proceeds will be used for special projects and field trips for the Culinary Cooking Class.

Video-discussion set

The public is invited to view a videotaped interview with Gabrille Roth, internationally acclaimed artist, healer, and trance-dancer on Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. at the Iris Centre in Washington. There is a $5 admission fee and to reserve a seat call 675-3003.

Halloween party planned

The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will have a Halloween party at the fire hall on Friday, Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. For more information call Sheila Scott at 937-4357.

Ham, turkey dinner set

Halloween celebration set

The Northern Virginia 4-H Education Center in Front Royal invites you to a Halloween celebration of fun, costumes, treats, and spooky excitement on Friday, Oct. 31, at the 4-H Center from 6 to 10 p.m. Children 7-12 years and their parents will epjoy trick-or-treating in our haunted stables, participating in carnival games, and touring the facility on our haunted hayride. Prizes will be given for the best and most original costumes and food will be available for purchase throughout the entire evening.
