Don’t forget that customs forms are required for all parcels going overseas and that most foreign countries have restrictions, including some foods, plants, and medications, on what may be allowed entry. You may pick up customs forms at any post office and prepare them at home when you pack your boxes for mailing. Packages that weigh more than one pound must be brought to the post office for mailing. Consider purchasing postal insurance for those presents, too.
