In other matters before the commission, which were quickly dispensed with prior to the public hearing, an application for a division of the land for Wakefield Country Day School was approved. The school property, to be six acres, will be divided from the remaining property belonging to the estate. The school will be allowed to use the soccer field which is on the property which goes with the house. The application was approved subject to documentation showing locations of septic and wells.
The commission also approved the application by Jay Monroe to locate his architectural office in the old Post Office at Huntly.
