Cathy Lou and Carrington Smith were chaperones last Tuesday, May 19, for 5th grade students at the DARE air show in Manassas. 12,000 area students attended, with many witnessing the death of pilot Dr. Miles Meritt when his plane crashed during the show.
The Smiths were delighted to have the opportunity to attend award banquets at Culpeper High School for honor roll students, FHA, and FFA, on May 19, 20, and 21, respectively. They were proud to see so many students dedicated to reaching their highest potential, as'well as school
