Get well wishes are sent to Evelyn Gum, Randy’s mom, who received second and third degree bums to her hand after dropping a container of hot grease.
On Wednesday, my parents, Betty and Denzil Canfield, joined us for dinner. My sister, Lynette, brother-inlaw, Ralph, and great-niece, Haley, were in for a brief visit. We had a wonderful time listening to Kady practice for her Saturday piano recital and watching Haley imitate Kady.
During the short time Lynette and Ralph were on vacation, their daughter, Tonya, was involved in a hit and run accident while driving her brother’s jeep. Thank God she came away with minor injuries after rolling the jeep, although they may not be so minor after Buddy gets to her!
Thank you to all armed services men and women who are serving our country now or served our country in the past. We salute you!
