Last Tuesday the Rappahannock School Board voted in favor of a resolution requesting the Rappahannock Board of Supervisors to issue general obligation school bonds in an amount not to exceed $3,000,000. On Wednesday, the supervisors approved the resolution and set the date for a public hearing on the issue for Oct. 5. Once the public hearing is held the supervisors will then decide whether or not to authorize an application to the Virginia Public School Authority for the purchase of the bonds.
