After defeats at Clarke County a week ago, the Rappahannock girls basketball teams were fired up and ready to take on Clarke once again, but this time on their home turf.
The varsity came out aggressively and never looked back. Sonya Wigington, Rebecca Metcalfe, Rebekah Letsen, Kyla Andreoni and Katie Wilson started for the Lady Panthers and quickly amassed a 10 point lead. Meghan Fairbrother, Mandolyn Ashby, Berkeley Hobson and Beth MaGee came in during the first period as well. MaGee shot phenomenally from the outside, repeatedly putting the crowd on its feet.
