It is through no ones fault but your own that the American public has spent over 40 million dollars and over seven months seeking to find the truth about what has proven to be unacceptable conduct on your part. If you had been honest from the start, you could have spared all of us this pain and humiliation.
I believe that what you have done is wrong and, grounds for impeachment or not, it is your duty to step aside and allow our country to move on. You lied to the American public. You took advantage of your office and your power. You had very poor judgment. You have humiliated the American people and your family. Your have made us the brunt of jokes around the world.
