The Rappahannock RoughRide is scheduled to take place this Saturday starting at 10 a.m. This is the second year for the RoughRide which will begin at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington, Va. The event is held to benefit the Fauquier Free Clinic wliich serves both Fauquier and Rappahannock.
Paved routes include 12, 35 or 60 mile rides. The RoughRide can be either 20 or 30 miles over paved and unpaved roads and is designed to be rough and rugged. There will be three rest stops: Trinity Episcopal Church, Laurel Mills Store and the Marriott Ranch. Each will have water, bananas and granola bars. Last year over 200 cyclists participated.
