Randy Rouse is a man who
knows racing. Ever since he bought 1958 Virginia Gold Cup winner Ricacho, Rouse has been involved in the sports as an owner, rider, trainer, administrator and innovator.
His influence is one that extends into the sport’s history and its future. The originator of the “national fence” and founder of the Fairfax Hunt point-to-point races, at age 81 Rouse has seen steeplechasing grow and change through the years.
