Kimberly Finn has joined the staff of Rappahannock Family Guidance as its new clinic director. A reception was held last week at the office of Family Guidance to welcome her to the community.
“I' am very impressed with the Community Services Board for the five county area and how they work together to make sure the needs here are being met,” she said. “I have to say, just since I’ve been out here, people are so nice and its been wonderful. It’s kind of a culture shock.”
Finn hails from Alexandria where she most recently worked for Residential Youth Services, a private non-profit organization, as its director of transitional living programs. She specialized in cases involving abused and neglected youth and young adults. Prior to that Finn was a family counselor with the same firm and worked with children and their families in therapy and counseling.
