Ann Baumgardner and Mary Lib Snead will leave Friday for Richmond where they will enter the 4-H Club Horse Show at the Virginia State Fair. Mary Lib will enter the large pony Hunter Division and Ann will show in the small pony Hunter Division. They will be accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Baumgardner and Mrs. Rayner V. Snead. Malcolm Oettinger, a free lance writer of Washington, D.C., his mother, Mrs. Catherine Oettinger, who lives at Canterbury, Washington, Va., and also in D.C., Mrs. Louise Oettinger, who has a position with a D.C. daily paper, attended the reception held Sunday at the Rappahannock Library. The tea was held in honor of local and area authors and was attended and enjoyed by many.
