The Woodville Community Organization is announcing the first quarterly picnic meeting of the year for the community and friends of Woodville. The Manwaring family is hosting the event at their pond site, which is located at the base of the Red Oak, just off of Five Forks Road. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.

The event will be held on Saturday, June 26 from 2 p.m. to dark. Bring your children and your neighbors and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of community fellowship and fun. There will be volleyball, tetherball, horseshoes, fishing, and great swimming (parents are responsible for the safety of their children).

We also hope to have a lot of great homegrown music so bring your instruments and your voices and plan on doing a little pickin’ and grin
