The 24th annual Fourth of July celebration will be held in Washington on Sunday, July 4.
The day begins at 12 when a juried craft show sets up on Gay Street, Rappahannock County Library Book sale at the Town Hall on Gay Street and the Washington dollar bill line begins at the monument on Gay Street.
Also at noon sing your favorite patriotic songs with a group of local singers plus political speakers at the courthouse.
There will be a musical program on Gay Street consisting of: David Clanagan and Free Spirit, extraordinarily good gospel music; Lee Pinkerson; The Eclectics; Mulch, a local Grunge Band
