“Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a daddy.” Happy Daddy’s Day!
Congratulations to Matt and Sara Kleppinger of Castleton who are pleased to welcome their new son, Joshua Caleb, into the family. Master Kleppinger was bom June 4 and weighed a healthy eight pounds and 14 ounces.
His big sister, Hannah Mae, is tickled pink (or maybe blue) to have a little brother. A frequent visitor to the Kleppinger home has been nephew, Johnathan Letsen. Proud grandparents are Carl and Sally Letsen of Castleton.
The Kleppinger family sends a warm “thank you” to Sharron Propper who took a special celebration feast for all to share the week of Joshua’s homecoming. Johnathan is also thanked for keeping Hannah occupied and happy.
Donn and Valerie Jones have returned form a driving trip through upper New England and New York’s Niagara Falls. They enjoyed steamed and deep fried lobster and lobster rolls. The bird watching in Acadia Park was entertaining and the shopping trip in Bar Harbor was reported as a success.
Rain coats were needed during the “Maid of the Mist” boat ride which took the Jones’ around Niagara Falls. Mrs. Trnes notes we could use some of that water here since it is too dry to mow the grass.
Happy birthdajr to Cody Rinehart who will be eight years old on Saturday, June 19, and to Melvin Canfield who will also celebrate his birthday on the 19.
