Freshly baked goods are available just across from the stall from Lydia’s homemade soaps and lotions. The array of herbs, both dried and fresh, are worth a visit just for themselves.

Home grown and freshly picked fruits and vegetables are what Farmer’s Markets are about and the one at Archwood Green Barns is no exception. Many types of lettuce, along with carrots, tomatoes, strawberries, scallions, spinach, and snow peas make a visit early in the day essential. These items go quickly. Fresh produce varies with the season so new items are always appearing.

From The Plains take Route 245 toward Warrenton. The Barns will be on your left, just out of town. From Route 66, take exit 31 toward The Plains. The market will be on your immediate right.

Both John Trott and Heidi Eastham are from the Flint Hill area.
