Several students received awards for special accomplishments at the graduation ceremony. Recipient of the Liz Tdle Award was Melanie Torrance. Bruce Brown received the Mary Horvath Award. Liz Tole was a dedicated volunteer at RCES for many years. She had a twinkle in her eye and a great love of children. She was the mother of school board chairman, Dr. John Tole. Mary Horvth was a Special Education teacher at RCES whose incredible gift for teaching and her love of children touched many students and staff members alike. It is wonderful that these amazing ladies can be remembered in such a fitting way. • Students in seventh grade who achieved perfect attendance for the year were: Molly Burke, Brittany Smith, Mel Torrance, Bruce Brown, Brian Brown, Bobbie Jo Brown and Jessica Estes. Ashley Williams has had perfect attendance since fourth grade! What an accomplishment!
• At the fourth through sixth grade Awards Assembly on Wednesday, many awards were presented but one of the most special was the William Sealock fifth grade Science Award for outstanding accomplishment in that area. This award was presented to Allison Ant.nnv
