A (for lack of a better name) School Beautification Committee spent Monday in Richmond visiting schools that have done an exemplary job of using creativity and a lot of cooperation among staff, students and parents to turn relatively old (perhaps a little drab) buildings into amazingly bright and beautiful environments. Pictures of each location were brought back to share with other students, PTO members and staff as we begin to pursue related projects in the RCPS.
• On Wednesday, June 16, RCES teacher and EMT, Geraldine Payne and her son Chris led a number of staff members through a CPR certification class. This certification is invaluable when working with so many students. We applaud those who took the time to attend this class.
