Miss Carol Nowakoski presented Golden Sneaker trophies to classrooms that had achieved an especially high rate of success in the area of physical education. Volunteer Ron Makela had helped to produce the awards.
• Thanks to the RCES PTO Josh Makela, Caroline LeVans and Brandy Faulkner received first, second and third place Spelling Bee trophies on Wednesday as well. Each first place winner from individual classrooms in grades four through seven received a Spelling Bee Finalist pin.
• This will be the last article of Panther Pause written by this author until school resumes in the fall. During the summer we have arranged for various groups and individuals who work actively with the public schools to write articles that we feel will be of interest to you. We hope that you will enjoy reading them. Have a safe and wonderful summer.
