• The Council decided again not to consider a request by the Conservation Land Coalition to pass a resolution supporting a dedicated funding source for land conservation in Virginia, instead opting to seek additional information, this time from PEC staffer Catherine Scott. A similar request by the Conservation Land Coalition was reviewed and adopted by the Rappahannock Board of Supervisors at their September meeting.
• Mayor Willis recommended and the Council approved expenditures.^ $800 for Christmas decorations and party, and additional funds to finish plantings at the Courthouse.
