Well, hunting season is upon us. Bow season is already in, with muzzle loader to follow.
Gary and his friend Bobby Pennington have been scaring the bejeezies out of me target practicing in our back yard. Even though I know they are going to shoot, I still jump.
I bet the city folk that have moved into the county are jumping out of their skin too!
But before they make a lot of unnecessary calls to the sheriff’s office, it is not illegal to target practice in our county, as long as you have a good target and sufficient back stop. Ninety-nine percent of the hunters in this county are careful and considerate of others. So, a warning to the four legged darlings: run. And to the two legged ones: watch the road!
