Rappahannock County 4-H had youth participants. at the State Fair in Richmond this year.
Ben Rupchis participated in two goat shows, the youth and the open show. Dixie Does Texas K Hope Chest won first in youth Alpine intermediate kid and second in open Alpine intermediate kid.
Bearly Dairy Goats Nora won second in youth and Recorded Grade dry yearling and seventh in open Recorded Grade dry yearling. Skylines El Nino won seventh in open Alpine dry yearling. Ben also placed tenth in intermediate showmanship.
