Flu clinic days set

The Rappahannock County Health Department will offer influenza clinics on the following day: Oct. 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. Flu cost is $7 for general public. Pneumonia (recommended for those over 65) cost is $14 for general public.

Applebutter making planned

Hunter Education course offered

Beef Conservation Field Day set

The 1999 Northern Piedmont Beef Conservation Field Day will be held Friday, Oct. 22 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the farm of Thomas and Brad Rosenberger and family in Jeffersonton in Culpeper County. The day is sponsored by the Virginia Cooperative Extension, Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation and Culpeper SWCD.

From the Rappahannock area take 211 to 229, head south approximately two miles on 229, field day location is on the east side of 229 a quarter of mile south of 621. The field day will be held near the Rosenberger’s home, a white cape cod situated on the east side of 229 just south of 621. For more information call the Rappahannock Extension Office at 675-3619.
