prepared for cool weather. For those who would like to learn more about what “wilderness” means, two special campfire programs are scheduled at Big Meadows Amphitheater. These programs will explore the beginning of the wilderness concept and challenge participants to determine what wilderness means to them. The wilderness campfire programs are scheduled for Friday nights Oct. 22 and 29 and begin at 8 p.m. In the event of bad weather, programs may be canceled. All programs are free to the public.
