Nancy Secrist is the new Rappahannock Home Extension Agent. A resident of the county for four years, she has a degree in Home Economics from the Carnegie Institute of Technology. In her introduction to the Board of Supervisors last week, she was described as “one of those people who comes to Rappahannock and wants to stay here.”
A photo featured Mrs. John Warner, the actress Elizabeth Taylor, and Mr. Warner, who both participated in the events at the Rappahannock Point-to-Point on Saturday. Mrs. Warner presented trophies and Mr. Warner was an outrider.
Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly has announced the addition of a ninth grade to the school’s program, beginning in September of 1977. The school now has grades one through eight and a kindergarten and pre-school program.

The Rappahannock County Garden Club marked its 43rd year of organization by welcoming six new members: Carolyn Emerick, Carol Miller, Janet Reed, Mary Revercomb, Betty Smith and Betty Wood. The club recently sponsored a poster contest on environment for the Junior Garden Club
