RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION:
RICHARD ABELL
WHEREAS, Richard Abell has served as a volunteer at the Rappahannock County Library for almost twenty years; and,
WHEREAS, his recent passing has left a void in our hearts; and
WHEREAS, Richard Abell was always committed to community service, and possessed of an indefatigable energy to help others.
WHEREAS, Richard Abell’s ready smile, helpful attitude and sharp wit will be much missed by all who had the pleasure to work with him and to those who looked forward to a visit by Richard as much as they looked forward to a visit to the library.
NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Rappahannock County Library board of Trustees, that it bears witness to the dedicated service of Richard Abell to Rappahannock County and to its citizens. Further, that it joins with the community in mourning the passing of this fine man, who has meant so much to all of us.
